| From my Euro Rear Wiper How-To: La-Z-Link While most owners look towards doing a rear wiper delete, I on the other hand opted to go in the opposite direction. Years ago, Funkysi talked about this mod but never saw it through to completion. However, his suggestion and data on the subject stuck with me and I finally decided to follow up on it.
The wiper arm of choice is from the Renault Laguna II Hatchback.

The mounting hole needs to be countersunk as in it's natural state will bind with the base of the wiper motor shaft.

After the counterbore/countersink was done, I did a slight wrapping of the grooved wiper motor shaft with adheasive aluminized foil to make a snug fit.
The slotted grove on the wiper arm where a generic wiper blade would snap into needed to be very slightly enlarged with a mini round file.
Once the wiper blade can snap into the wiper's arm slot it would not sit flush with the arm.
The trailing portion of the wiper blade mount on the wiper arm needs to be trimmed back slightly.
 Wiper Blade mount trimmed back.

Wiper blade now sitting flush/recessed within the wiper arm.

Old wiper arm waiting to be replaced with newer wiper arm.

New wiper arm fitted and oem retaining bolt tightened.

Retaining cover snapped into place for a clean look.

I later replaced the 21" older style wiper blade with a newer style 26" one.
